Westview Winter Market

Hello Wildcat Community,

Westview Secondary School is hosting the Winter Craft Fair on Friday November 24, 2023 from 4:30 to 8:00pm.

This event will be held at the Westview Secondary School Large Gym, with access through the gym doors which are found on the right/front side of the building.  This fundraiser is for the Graduating class of 2024.

Set Up/ Take Down Information:

As a vendor, you will have access to start setting up at 3:30pm on the day of the event.  PLEASE NO EARLY BIRDS as we will be getting last minute stuff prepared for the event. You MUST remain set up until the end of the Winter Craft Fair.  No vendor can start packing up until 8:00pm when the event is CLOSED.  If you sell out prior to the end of the event, please leave your table set up.  Any tables left unattended are NOT the responsibility of Westview Secondary School or any of the student organizers. All vendors must be out of the school prior to 9:00pm

There can be no hanging or attaching items to walls unless given permission to do so.

Application Requirements:

  • The organizers reserve the right to have any items not listed on the application form removed from the vendor’s table.
  • If you are selling food products, you must have a current copy of your Food Safe Certification available on request and should have it on display during the market.
  • Your vendor spot will not be considered confirmed until payment is received.
  • You will have one week after your acceptance email to submit payment.
  • NO Refunds will be given as it is considered a donation to the Westview Class of 2024.
  • The vendor shall not sublet their table to any other person.
  • While we will do our best to place vendors as requested, there are NO guarantees.
  • Final placement is at the discretion of the student volunteers. Floor plan is created in the final weeks leading up to the market.
  • To accommodate any cancellations or changes that have been made a placement map will be available via email 1 week before the market. There will also be a map available upon arrival at set up for the market.
  • Payment can be made via e transfer westviewcraftfair2023@gmail.com with the password winter

NO CHEQUES or CASH due to school being closed for summer holidays. All payment due within one week after acceptance. After one week, we will be going onto the next person in line.

DONATIONS:

Each vendor must donate ONE product worth a minimum $10 to be added to our raffle basket that will be raffled off, If you do not have any products worth $10 you then may provide a $10 Gift Certificate.

  • Registration opens for past vendors: June 25, 2023
  • Registration opens for everyone: July 5, 2023
  • Registration closes: Nov 1, 2023 unless already filled

PUB NIGHT FUNDRAISER – WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

Where: The Reach Pub
When: April 10th | 7:30 PM
Cost: $35 per ticket, include a buffet dinner and a drink

Important: Ticket sales are currently low, and we need the support of our Westview families to make this event a success.

Grade 12 Parents:
Your support is essential. This is one of our key fundraisers, and your attendance directly impacts the Dry Grad experience we can provide for our students. We strongly encourage you to come out and support our grads.

Grade 11 Parents:
This is a great opportunity to connect with the Dry Grad Committee, see how events are organized, and gather ideas as you prepare for next year.

The Dry Grad Committee is a small group of dedicated parents, and we rely on the support of our entire school community. We cannot do this alone—your involvement truly makes a difference.
