School Fees 2026-2027

On-line Payment Option available for School Fees and Yearbooks

School District No. 42 offers parents/guardians online options for payment of student fees ($35) and yearbooks ($65), along with field trips and other special events. These will be found via the Parent Portal account you have created. Please watch for these notifications in the Parent Portal in September for your student fees and yearbook. Fees for field trips and other events can happen throughout the year, please watch for these notifications in the Parent Portal as well.

Before parents/guardians can use this online option, they must visit https://parents.sd42.ca and register for an account. If you need help creating a Parent Portal account, please contact Ms. Stacey Gloude, Administrative Coordinator at Westview, 604-467-3481, ext. 740002.

Student Fees

Student Fees support a multitude of student activities in the building that build culture and foster a warm and caring environment for WSS community. The funds are shared amongst groups like student leadership that host events throughout the school year.  They work continuously on projects that contribute to the energetic and positive school culture by promoting and encouraging student participation in numerous activities like Spirit Weeks, Halloween Festivities, Christmas Events, Spring Events, and Gym Riots.  In addition they plan, organize and support a number of events whenever called upon, for example, last year they helped with the organization of a Westview Basketball Tournament.

Student fees also support Westview athletes with the growing number of athletic programs offered at Westview.

In addition, these fees are also used to host high quality guest speakers to educate students on current and relevant topics such as Social Media & Awareness Education, Social Justice, Self Esteem, Bullying, and Road Safety.

Student fees are incredibly important in providing a host of other meaningful services and activities beyond the classroom for our students.  If you have any questions regarding on-line payments please contact Ken Elphick, Principal or Stacey Gloude, Administrative Coordinator at Westview, 604-467-3481.
