Students continue to have the option to return to Westview for time equivalent to one day a week. Students will continue to wait outside the main entrance and beginning at 8:30, administrators will conduct a health screening and inquire on the subjects students will be working on in order to connect students with staff with expertise in these areas. Students will then be directed to the washroom to wash their hands. The vast majority of students will be working and have their learning supported in the library or MPR, while some will be able to work in their support rooms. Students are divided into two groups for the return to school:
Group 1 – (A-K)
- Monday, June 8th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Wednesday, June 10th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Monday, June 15th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Wednesday, June 17th – 8:30am-11:10am
Group 2 – (L-Z)
- Tuesday, June 9th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Thursday, June 11th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Tuesday, June 16th – 8:30am-11:10am
- Thursday, June 18th – 8:30am-11:10am
This focused work time is NOT a time to connect with peers or socialize. In the midst of a public health emergency, we may be forced to ask students to leave the building who are not able to focus on their work or are socializing with peers or not following physical distancing guidelines. All curricular areas supported BUT your classroom teachers may not be in the building every day you are in the building.
Locker Clean Out
For those students that need to come into the school to clean out their locker, and return their books and textbooks, please come to the front entrance between the hours of 12:00-2:30 during the week of June 8-12.
