Stage 3 Return to School – Summary
Since we have opened up for students in June, we have been averaging between 50-80 students a day. Students have done very well adjusting to new routines of checking-in with staff, hand washing/sanitizing & working in either the Library, Multi-Purpose Room or Learning Support Rooms. In every space, there are teachers and support staff supporting student learning as well as access to technology to sign out.

Looking ahead to the Fall
This week will be our last week of students in school. Our move online and return to school for 20% of students has provided important information for us as we plan for a return to school in the Fall. The Provincial Health Officer will direct what stage we return to in the Fall. We are currently in Stage 3 with 20% of students daily. Stage 2 has 40% of students returning daily and Stage 1 is our typical school day with 100%. How we return will most likely be determined over the summer based on how the province is managing Covid-19.

Final Report Cards – June 25th
Final Report cards are available for download from MyEdBC on June 25th. If you have any questions about accessing MyEdBC please do not hesitate to email, Darren_Rowell@sd42.ca.

Grad 2020 – June 24th
Our virtual graduation ceremony will be viewable & downloadable June 24th at 7:00pm. This is the same day and time we had booked for our commencement ceremony. Graduating students have a sign up for June 18th or 19th to pick up their Grad Cap & Gown, as well as yearbook and other grad related items. Specific information will be sent to all grads on Monday, June 22 to provide access info to both view and download our Virtual Ceremony.

On the next pages are some important information for the following two weeks of school.
