First Day back to School

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students,

Here is our proposed schedule for the first day back to school. Please download our Westview School App and the MySchoolDay brochure – Students and Parents info here. This app lets you know what’s happening daily at the school and is a very important source of school information as well as our website.

September 5 – 8, 2023

We will send out any communication regarding details about our first two weeks back in September around the end of August. For now, our tentative schedule for September 5-8 is as follows:

Sept 5:

Students should arrive early to find their homeroom advisory class. Any questions about school supplies, timetables and lockers will be discussed at this time. If your child is Grade 9-10 and wants to change classes, they will need to make an appointment with their counselor. Mrs. O’Leary deals with 8s, 10s and 12s (A-L) and Mrs. Sharpe deals with grades 9s, 11s and 12s (M-Z).

10:00 – 10:45 – Grade 9s, 10s, 11s & 12s attend Advisory
11:00 – 11:45 – Grade 8s attend Advisory
11:45 – Students are dismissed for the day

Sept 6: C D A B

8:25am – First bell goes
8:30am – Students should be in their Block C class to start

Sept 7: G H E F

8:25am – First bell goes
8:30am – Students should be in their Block G class to start

Sept 8: FRIDAY ROTATION DAY 2 – E F G H

8:25am – First bell goes
8:30am – Students should be in their Block E class to start
