NEW AND OLD THSS CLOTHING ON SALE!!!!
NEW THSS CLOTHING: There are two new THSS logos for clothing. Clothing will be on sale from November 18 – January 16. Samples to try on for sizing will be available at lunch outside of the Rotunda after Nov. 24. Pictures and order forms will be located on the board next to the Intramural board (outside the rotunda) starting November 18. There will be t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewnecks, and sweat pants available. All details and prices will be on the order forms.
OLD THSS CLOTHING:
All this week at lunch, outside the rotunda, there will a clothing sale with old THSS logos, team t-shirts, and cinch bags. Everything will be on sale, and priced to clear…the only catch is that there are limited sizes. First come, first served. We cannot put anything on hold, so bring your money and check out the selection. Prices will vary between $10 – 30.
The Happening Arts & Crafts Fair: If you have signed up to help with the craft fair on Nov. 29 and 30 please come to an important meeting with Mrs. Ryan at lunch tomorrow, Friday, in room 2145. Information regarding schedules will also be given at this time.
Intro to Power Yoga: Monday, November 24 during Y Block. All students welcome
All fitness-minded students are welcome to come to power yoga! This class is a moderate level, but options will be given for different levels. Please wear exercise clothing and bring water. Mats are provided but you can bring your own if you have one. If you are in PE 10 Online, your attendance will count for an hour credit. Email or see Ms. Szakos if you have any questions.
The Key Club is hosting a toy drive to collect Christmas presents for underprivileged children between the ages of 2 – 12. If you have any unused toys, please bring them to the office before December 1.
The Legion 88 Poppy Campaign 2014 would like to thank all the students and staff for their participation and generous support in this year’s campaign. The combined total amount collected from all the schools in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows is $5,466.00. The Poppy Funds are used for Veteran’s transitional programs. These funds also help pay for much-needed items for veterans, such as walk-in bathtubs, wheelchairs, ramps, hearing aids, glasses, and walkers. Thank you for supporting our veterans.

THE RIDGE MEADOWS VOLLEYBALL CLUB is trying to get a boys’ volleyball team going for the 2015 season. If you have a son born between 2001 and 2003 in grades 6-8 who is interested in playing, please contact Sue Soolsma at rmvc@shaw.ca. Tryouts take place on Monday, Nov 24 at Webster’s Corner Elementary School from 7:30-9:00pm, and we will run a few practices in December just to see if the boys like it. There will be no cost for the tryouts or these practices.

Junior boys: Practices Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-4:30

Senior and junior girls: practice 7:15-8:00 am TOMORROW, Friday, Nov. 21. If enough girls show up there will be tryouts next week Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:00

Parents will be welcome to attend early at Meadow Gardens for photos, but the Dinner / Dance is for students and one guest only (not parents).

The Grad Clothing will be on sale until Nov 21. There will only be one order this year so don’t miss out! Order forms can be picked up on the board outside the rotunda, near the girls’ change rooms. Forms and money need to be handed into Mrs. Coghill or Mrs. Clayton.

While it is primarily intended for grade 12’s, it is also very beneficial for interested grade 11’s and even grade 10’s to attend for part of the morning.
- UBC’s Engineering Open House: November 29th from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at UBC.
