If you didn’t finish your fitness testing for PE last week, please come down to the gym during Y block today. We will be running the Beep test in the gym and other testing in the weight room.

THSS CLOTHING ON SALE!!!!
NEW THSS CLOTHING: There are two new THSS logos for clothing. Clothing will be on sale from November 18 – January 16. Samples to try on for sizing will be available at lunch outside of the Rotunda. Pictures and order forms will be located on the board next to the Intramural board (outside the rotunda). There will be t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewnecks, and sweat pants available. All details and prices will be on the order forms.
Intro to Power Yoga: Monday, November 24 during Y Block. All students welcome
All fitness-minded students are welcome to come to power yoga! This class is a moderate level, but options will be given for different levels. Please wear exercise clothing and bring water. Mats are provided but you can bring your own if you have one. If you are in PE 10 Online, your attendance will count for an hour credit. Email or see

The fall music concert is this Tuesday, Nov. 25th from 7-8pm here at THSS in the rotunda. Admission is by donation and all proceeds go towards the students’ repertoire.
The Key Club is hosting a toy drive to collect Christmas presents for underprivileged children between the ages of 2 – 12. If you have any unused toys, please bring them to the office before December 1.
THE RIDGE MEADOWS VOLLEYBALL CLUB is trying to get a boys’ volleyball team going for the 2015 season. If you are a grade 8 boy who is interested in playing, please contact Sue Soolsma at rmvc@shaw.ca. Tryouts take place tonight, Monday, Nov 24 at Webster’s Corner Elementary School from 7:30-9:00pm. There will be no cost for the tryouts or these practices.

Grade 8 boys: Tryouts on Monday from 3:00-4:30; practice on Wednesday from 3:00-4:30
Junior boys: Practices Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-4:30
Senior boys: Practices Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-6:00
Senior and junior girls: practice 7:15-8:00 am TODAY, Friday, Nov. 21. If enough girls show up there will be tryouts next week Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:00

Please read the schedule carefully for game times; some days you might play twice.

This inaugural event will connect high school athletes with KPU Eagles coaches to ask questions, and find out more about KPU’s programs and campus life. All athletes presently in Gr. 11 & 12 who are interested in playing varsity level men & women’s basketball, soccer, golf, and badminton, are invited to attend. Parents will be welcome to attend early at Meadow Gardens for photos, but the Dinner / Dance is for students and one guest only (not parents).

Page Program: Become a page at the House of Commons. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the Canadian parliamentary system. Each year, 40 exceptional students from across Canada are selected to take part in this program.
