Hey Wildcat Community!
Your Voice Matters: Linear vs. Semester Schedule Public Engagement!
The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) is gathering input from students, staff, and families across the district on potential changes to secondary school schedules at individual schools.
Currently, all SD42 secondary schools follow a linear schedule, where students take up to eight classes throughout the full school year. Moving forward, some schools may continue with this model, while others may transition to a semester schedule, with up to four classes per semester and two semesters in a school year.
Any approved schedule changes would take effect in the 2026/27 school year.
All surveys are open until May 2, 2025 and can be accessed through the consultation webpage: sd42.ca/secondary-scheduling-engagement
