Welcome Letter to Families for 2024_2025
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 School year. Please see the attached letter for important start up and school year information.
Just a reminder of the first things to be aware about:
We have a number of Grade 8 specific dates coming up in August and September you should know about.
- Grade 8 Orientation – Open House
On Tuesday, August 27 between 10:00am – 12:00pm, we are hosting the Grade 8 Orientation Day Open House. We are so excited to be welcoming our new cohort of Grade 8s to Westview!
Grade 8s are welcome to drop by during this time to get a treat and have a look around the school. We will have student leaders on hand to give tours & answer questions. Parents & caregivers are welcome as well.
- First week of School
The first day of school for all students is September 3. First day of classes begin on September 4. The schedule is included in the attached letter.
On September 6, after our Grades 8s have had a chance to settle into their new school, we will be holding a Grade 8 Orientation to High School day as part of the regular schedule and lunch will be provided. Parents & guardians/care givers do not attend this day.
- School Fees will be published shortly
- Advisories and Timetables will be available on MyClass by 3pm on Wednesday, August 28th.
