Welcome to Westview Secondary School’s website. It is our pleasure to tell you a bit about our great school. Westview Secondary School is a grade 8 – 12 full service neighborhood school with approximately 920 students.
We offer first rate programs across the board, including, but not limited to:
- grade 8 transition program
- diverse academic courses
- various Support Programs
- Fine Arts (drama, music, art)
- and Applied Skills (computers, tech, wood, metal, foods, textiles, etc)
Our Physical Education dept. has a wonderful facility, and arguably, one of the finest fitness rooms in the province. Our boot camps have become legendary with students and staff looking to stay or get fit. Our state of the art artificial turf field is another bonus, which undoubtedly benefits our Soccer Academy, team sports and PE programs.
Westview has a thriving international population which adds to the wonderful diversity of the school. We have a caring, committed staff, and our parents often remark on the fact that our school feels like a tightly knit community.
