The Westview Drama Club has been rehearsing, organizing, and working hard at creating the delicious world of Willy Wonka in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Our rehearsals and work began early September and we are just under one month before the production is live. Hannah Ward, grade 10, (photo) has been casted and taken on the role of Willy Wonka and alongside many of the cast, breaths a light of the delicious tale. The clubs focus is on community and the enjoyment of the theatre itself, as well as showing one of the many opportunities available for students to be a part of at Westview.
The production runs from February 12-16th with 9 total performances. The students of Westview have opened up the theatre to elementary classes across the districts. We have two evening performances available and open to all Thursday, February 15th 2024 & Friday, February 16th 2024.
Tickets are $10.00 each (Festival Seating) with the Doors to open at 6:30, performance begins at 7pm.
Cash Concession with sweets and treats will be available for purchase.
