Congratulations to members of the track & field team who qualified for the BC High School Championships. Leading the Thunder was gold medalist Kate Meredith winning the girls shot put with a throw of 10.56 meters. Erick Villanueva and Jayden Brown also won silver medals in Junior & Gr. 8 long jump events. Darian Smerdal was 5th in high jump. Provincial finalists were: Jayden Brown, Ryan Butler, Tianne Desjardins, Madelyn Huston, Christina Johnstone, Kate Meredith, Alex Ross, Darian Smerdal and Erick Villanueva.
All Theatre Students are reminded to hand in their float block sheets no later than June 17th. Your course is not complete without this.

Social Studies 11 – The Learning Guide 20 final exam will take place in the Suddaby Room Friday, June 13 during blocks 1-3. All SS11 students please plan accordingly. If there is a conflict with this time, you must write in the testing centre BEFORE Friday, June 13th.

Join us for the Summer Learning Culinary Arts class at M.R.S.S. from July 3rd to July 25th! This is a four credit course and it is FREE of charge! The course will begin with Foodsafe Certification and then continue you on to be a hands-on course where you will learn how to create amazing fresh dishes, ranging from pastry to fresh pasta!
