Congratulations go out to Marlowe Evans, Sadie Sugden-Harvey and Tianne Jensen DesJardins who participated in the district French public speaking competition on Friday. They will now move on to the Provincials to be held at SFU at the beginning of May! Well done ladies!! Félicitations! The Languages Teachers

The Random Acts of kindness Club will be hosting a bake sale on Tuesday, April 15. Proceeds go to support a Me to We trip to Ecuador, so bring your spare change for some goodies! Gluten free products will be available.

15 Reasons exhibition is Wednesday April 16th, blocks 1 through 3 in the English Great Hall – Everyone is invited to attend. Participants should sign up with their teacher as soon as possible.

English 10-12 Students: Do you need seminar credit??? Come down to the English Great Hall next Wednesday, April 16th to check out the ’15 Reasons to Live’ Exhibition. The exhibition takes place all morning. See Ms. Ferguson to inquire about seminar credit. You’ll need a pen and piece of paper! (This offer is also open to students who are participating in the 15 Reasons event).

The PE Student Aide list for next year is posted on the board by the intramural board. Thanks to all that applied, we could not accept everyone, space is limited.

LOST CLOTHING? Clothing and other “found items” are outside the office to be collected before Thursday, April 17th. ALL ITEMS REMAINING AFTER THURSDAY WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY.

THSS CLOTHING is officially on sale! Samples will be available to try on during lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Order forms are available in the boys & girls PE change room hallways. All order forms are to be given to Ms. Coghill or Ms. Clayton. All order forms are due by April 25.

NEEDED: 50-100 empty 2L bottles for inquiry project. If possible, please deliver to Mr. Devita’s class (room 1133). Thank you for your support! – Grade 8 Inquiry Group –

ALL BIOLOGY 12 STUDENTS! PLEASE ATTEND AN AMAZING PRESENTATION ON ADDICTIONS, ON TUESDAY, APRIL 22nd DURING 3RD BLOCK IN THE SUDDABY ROOM.

Theatre Sports is on weekly at the theatre every Wednesday 2:45-3:45 – ALL students are welcome.

Arts Club Theatre Spamalot trip – May 21 – please get your forms in ASAP. We will open tickets up to non-theatre students after this week.

The following students have not completed their course selection process. If any of these students are in your TA, please ask them to see Mr. von Matt as soon as possible to complete. If they have their form they can simply drop it off in the counseling area. If they have lost their form, we will give them a new one. Students can enter their courses with their passwords if they wish, but if they have lost their password or they are locked out because they have tried too many times unsuccessfully, they can just fill in the form.

District Dogwood (non-academic) Scholarship application packages are in the Career Centre for Grade 12’s to pick up. DUE DATE FOR THIS APPLICATION IS NOW PAST; students selected to do presentations notified via TA April 15; Presentations April 23.

Grade 12 Scholarships – there are still 2 Category A Awards available that were not included in the booklet. Ridge Meadows Emergency Physician’s Award – due April 14 (related to Fraser Health employee; Parent works at RMH; Long term treatment/care at RMH; Volunteered at RMH). Kanaka Creek PAC – due April 30 (must have attended Kanaka, including grade 7).

Youth Vision Film Festival contest – info in the Career Centre.
