Mandatory tryouts for the girls gr. 8/9 soccer team are running Thursday March 6th after school. Be on the field by 2:50. You must attend at least one of the days in order to be eligible to make the team. Team list will be posted Monday Mar. 10. Any questions please see Mr. Franco or Mr. Urquhart.
Art 11 and 12 students: FIGURE DRAWING WORKSHOPS. Plan to attend one of the following this week and please be on time! Thursday 5th block. If interested, any Grade 9 and 10 art students are welcome to attend.

MODELS NEEDED! Ms. Messner is looking for female and male models for her art class for the next two weeks. You will have to arrive on time and stay for an entire block while the art students draw you. Your hour of hard work will be rewarded. See Ms. Messner for details.
PE Student Aide for Next School Year
If you are currently in grade 10 or grade 11, and you are interested in being a PE Student Aide next year you need to write your name on the list that is posted on the board in the girls PE change hallway. The list will be taken down on Friday, March 14. Space is limited in this course and you will be notified a few weeks after spring break if you are in the course.

Course Selection Offering: Comparative Civilizations 12 (Comp Civ 12) is a Social Studies course that will be offered for next school year that was missed on the course selection sheets and seminars. Sign up is still available for online registration. Please see Mrs. Wilkie if you have any questions about the course.
THSS will be hosting the POETRY SLAM after Spring Break. The SLAM will take place on Thursday, April 3rd during 4th/5th blocks. Sign up with Ms. Ferguson in the English Great Hall. ALL students are welcome to participate!

Grads – There was one grey crewneck in a size – small left over from the grad clothing order. If anyone wants it …it is $10 to the first person to see Mrs. Coghill with the cash.
Grad Gown Sign-Up – All grads must sign up for the correct grad gown size by March 14th. Please visit the counseling area to measure your correct height *taking note to add the height of the shoes that you will be wearing during the grad ceremony.

1) Soccer Intramurals have been put on hold….for now.
2) Drop in soccer. Anyone interested in playing soccer at lunch….just drop by the main gym at the start of lunch. Full PE strip is required.
Teams will be made five minutes into lunch, and we will change on the fly. This will happen March 3, 4, 10, and 11. Both staff and students are welcome.
3) Signup for intramural basketball is now posted. Rules are also posted. There are specific rules for making teams. Sheets will be taken down on March 11. Games will start after spring break.
