Grad Portraits – MONDAY-WEDNESDAY IN THE PRESENTATION ROOM

If you haven’t done so already, please book your Grad Portrait session online by visiting mountainwest.ca and click on the ‘Book a Grad Session’ button at the top.  This is your only chance to be in the yearbook.  Bring $20 if you are ordering a package.

 

All Outdoor Pursuits Students – please meet during Y-block in our usual room on Monday, Jan. 13^th.  Special speaker from Search and Rescue will be here with important safety information regarding our winter overnight trip (even if you are not going please attend – this is valuable information!)

 

GRADE 12 DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION SESSIONS – Monday, Jan 13, Y Block, Room 2008; Tuesday, Jan 14 at lunch, Room 2008; Friday, Jan 17 at lunch in the Suddaby Room. Grade 12’s need only attend one session as info is the same in each.

 

Recycling Challenge!  A notice to all TA’s participating in the blue box program.  Students can earn team points by bringing down their TA blue box for recycle, now until Spring break, at the great hall kiosk, on Monday mornings.  If you still need a blue box, they are available at this time. Plastics (#2,#4,#5) tin, glass, paper, cardboard and batteries are accepted.

All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten will be in production for only fourperformances, Jan. 29^th -31^st at 7:00pm, as well as a matinee performance Jan 29^th at 12:30pm. Tickets for the most amazing musical are only $8.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for adults for the evening performances. Tickets for the matinee performance is only $5.00 all ages.

WRITERS!! Festival of Light 2014 Poetry contest is now on. Entry deadline is Jan 31. More info in the Career Centre.

 

Girls PE Change rooms  The lockers in the girl’s PE change rooms are meant to be used during your PE class.  You bring a lock, use is for the hour you are down in the gym area, and you remove it when you leave at the end of class.  Lockers are for everyone’s use.  At the end of the day on Tuesday, January 14 all locks in both of the girl’s change rooms will be cut off and the contents of the lockers will be placed in the lost and found.

We need to meet during Y-block on Monday, Jan 20 in the Tech Lab to do our team photo.  The picture will be taken at 10:10am so do not be late.
