Thomas Haney Secondary Sightlines Theatre in collaboration with the Thomas Haney Musical Department presents the musical adaptation of Robert Fulghum’s All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten, adapted by Ernest Zulia, Music & Lyrics by David Caldwell.

Originally written as a series of timeless, funny, and insightful essays within a novel that resonates with everyone who reads it, has been adapted for the stage for all to enjoy. Fulghums’ ability to look at life’s profound moments through the eyes of young children, speaks to core of our existence.

 All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten will be in production for only four performances, Jan. 29th -31st at 7:00pm, as well as a matinee performance Jan 29th at 12:30pm. Tickets for this heartwarming musical are only $8.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for adults for the evening performances. Tickets for the matinee performance is only $5.00 all ages.  Tickets can be reserved for pick up at the office by calling (604) 463-2001. Please note that due to some subject material, this production is not recommended for young children.

Sightlines Theatre is located at Thomas Haney Secondary School, 23000 116th Avenue Maple Ridge.

 

Tickets to our life changing musical “All I Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” are on sale daily in the rotunda at noon.  Students – evening shows are $8.00 & matinee tickets only $5.00.

 

All Outdoor Pursuits Students – please meet during Y-block in our usual room on Monday, Jan. 13th.  Special speaker from Search and Rescue will be here with important safety information regarding our winter overnight trip (even if you are not going please attend – this is valuable information!)

If you haven’t done so already, please book your Grad Portrait session online by visiting mountainwest.ca and click on the ‘Book a Grad Session’ button at the top.  Portraits will be starting next week! This is your only chance to be in the yearbook.  Bring $20 if you are ordering a package.

 

Environmental Chemistry Lab Tech Work Experience opportunity – must be in Grade 12 and completed Chem. 11.  Applications due this Friday, Jan 10. See Mr. Wiens or Mrs. McGrath in the Career Centre.

 

GRADE 12 DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION SESSIONS – Monday, Jan 13, Y Block, Room 2008; Tuesday, Jan 14 at lunch, Room 2008; Friday, Jan 17 at lunch in the Suddaby Room. Grade 12’s need only attend one session as info is the same in each.

 

WRITERS!! Festival of Light 2014 Poetry contest is now on. Entry deadline is Jan 31. More info in the Career Centre.

 

North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association Needs Volunteers 16 and older – Mandatory Orientation Session this Sunday, January 12, 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Career Centre has more info.
