PE During Breaking Down the Walls – All PE Classes
If you are not participating in Breaking Down the Walls, and you have PE on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you will need to report to the Suddaby Room with a subject to work on. Attendance will be taken. You will also need to bring your planners so your teacher can update your marks. Strength and Conditioning will happen at the usual place and times.
WHODUNIT? Don’t miss the opportunity to see a murder mystery in action! Tickets for THSS’s production of The Mousetrap are on sale daily at lunch. Show dates are Jan. 28 – 30th at 7:00 pm with a matinée performance on Wednesday, January 28th. Tickets are only $6 for students and seniors, and $8 for adults, so make sure you get your tickets early before they sell out!
Interested in a Career in Design, Media Arts, Culinary or Fashion? There will be a presenter from the Art Institute here tomorrow, January 14th, during 5th block in the sewing room. Everyone is welcome!
THSS CLOTHING ON SALE
There are two new THSS logos for clothing, which will be on sale until January 16. Samples to try on for sizing will be available at lunch outside of the Rotunda. Pictures and order forms will be located on the board next to the Intramural board (outside the rotunda). There will be t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewnecks, and sweat pants available. All details and prices will be on the order forms.

Badminton Intramurals:

The main gym will be open Monday, Jan 12 and Friday, Jan 16 for those that would like to fine tune their badminton skills before the tournament starts.

GRAD FEES are available to be paid on the parent portal.
Cap & Gown $50.00, Dinner / Dance $60.00 per ticket (you can purchase 2 if you are bringing a guest), Dry Grad $30.00 per ticket (you can purchase 2 if you are bringing a guest). Parents will be welcome to attend early at Meadow Gardens for photos, but the Dinner / Dance is for students and one guest only (not parents).
Grad Parent Tributes: Each year Grad parents are invited to prepare a tribute to their child, which is published in the yearbook along with a baby photo. The parent tribute fee is available on line for payment ($30), or you can pay Mrs. Shamro in the office. Please submit your parent tribute to Mr. Crawford before January 16, 2015. Tributes should be 300 characters (including spaces) to THSSgrad2014@gmail.com. The photo must be scanned at highest resolution (300 dpi) and sent using same email address. This will be published in the 2014-2015 yearbook. Mr. Crawford requires two photos – one baby photo and one toddler photo.

Scholarship Information Seminar: Open to all students in the district in grades 10, 11 and 12. This will be held at Maple Ridge Secondary tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13th at 1:15 p.m. Please let Mr. Takasaki know if you will be attending.
Canadian Women in Municipal Government Scholarship – $500
Criteria: Young women who are in secondary school in any year of study and who are making a contribution to their school leadership teams or student councils.
