Anyone interested in showcasing their artwork on the newsletter, please see Ms. Learmonth in the art room

Science Students: Please remember that if you’re showing up for a Chemistry lab, you must wear appropriate footwear (no flip flops or sandals).  You will be turned away if you aren’t wearing the proper footwear.

All science labs must be completed by June 15. The lab will continue to be open for students as a work area. The kiosk will be open for textbook return and other responsibilities until June 21 as usual.  ~Thank You.

Yearbooks are still available for $55.00. Get it engraved with your name for only $2.00 more!

The first annual THSS Athletics BBQ will be held on Monday, June 27th from 5:30-6:30 in the rotunda. Students can pick up forms in the office. Please return to the office by June 9th.

Students – if you’d like to volunteer at this year’s Country Fest, please come to the Career Centre for up-to-date information on dates and volunteer positions. Ghost Ridge Haunted House had its last year in October, and won’t be an option if you want volunteer hours for Grad Trans or Work Experience. So, why not take advantage of Country Fest and get your hours during the summer?!

Digital media summer camp – stop by the career centre.

All gr 8/9 girls’ soccer team members from team Thunder and team Haney please return your jerseys to your coach IMMEDIATELY. Once all jerseys are in, your coach will organize your pizza party.

Camp Ignite – Aug 11 – 14 for girls in grade 11 who are interested in firefighting. Stop by the career centre.

Anyone interested in Work Experience at Science World this summer or next school year? Stop by the Career Centre!

ATTENTION GRADS:

Deadline to Accept UBC’s Offer of Admission:  Students have until today, June 1 to accept their offer of admission by logging into the UBC Student Service Centre and clicking on “Accept or Decline My Offer.” The acceptance deposit is $500 for domestic students, and $1000 for international students

Please ensure that you’ve paid your grad fees! 

GRAD LIST: The grad list is now posted on the office window. If your name is highlighted you need to see Mrs. Shamro regarding fees and/or forms. If you expect to participate in the cap & gown ceremony but your name is not listed, please see Mrs. Gilbert or Mr. Frend ASAP

If you have been offered a scholarship, please bring your offer letter to Mrs. McGrath in the Career Centre

Grade 9 students who wish to do Planning 10 on-line next year need to see Mr. Wiens in the Career Centre ASAP.
