Encounters With Canada is now accepting applications for students aged 14 – 17, to travel to Canada’s Capital for a once-in-a-lifetime, week-long experience! Deadline to apply is coming up quickly so check out the details with your parents here https://www.ewc-rdc.ca/pub/ and if they give you permission to attend see Mrs. McGrath in the Career Centre right away.
TA Change Forms for Next Year:
Are now available from the main desk in the Career Centre. Completed forms must be returned to Mrs. Davis no later than May 20.
As the set is now being built for our next production, if the rotunda is being used for a drama class, the rotunda is closed to all students.
Students are still able to sign up the following courses for next year:
PE: PE Outside Credit forms need to be handed in to your PE teacher by TODAY.
Grade 8 Badminton Intramurals: The Grade 8 Badminton Intramural Tournament will start on May 30. It is a doubles tournament. Please sign up on the intramural board. Please write first and last names. The signup sheets will be taken down on Thursday, May 19.
Science Students: Please remember that if you’re showing up for a Chemistry lab, you must wear appropriate footwear (no flip flops or sandals). You will be turned away if you aren’t wearing the proper footwear.
Attention students in grades 10-12:
Anyone interested in student aiding/peer mentoring at summer school this year? This is an excellent opportunity to earn course credit working with teachers and students at summer school. If you successfully complete this program, you will receive a letter of reference and it looks excellent on a resume. If you are interested, see Mr. Clutchey. There will be an information session TODAY, Friday, May 13 third block in room 1132. Come at the beginning and it will only take about 15 minutes.

GRAD LIST: The grad list is now posted on the office window. If your name is highlighted you need to see Mrs. Shamro regarding fees and/or forms. If you expect to participate in the cap & gown ceremony but your name is not listed, please see Mrs. Gilbert or Mr. Frend ASAP
If you have been offered a scholarship, please bring your offer letter to Mrs. McGrath in the Career Centre
