PE 10 Students

If you recently (Jan or Feb 2015) did first aid with Clayton, Coghill or Urquhart, you have one more day to do the first aid practical test: Monday, March 30.  Report to your teacher’s office at the start of the block to do the test.

 

PE Leadership (or PE Student Aide)

If you are interested in taking this course next year, you must apply.  Add your name to the signup sheet on the sheet next to the intramural board (outside the rotunda).  The sheet will be taken down TODAY.  A list with accepted applicants will be posted by Tuesday, April 7.

 

Cathay Pacific’s “I Can Fly” Program offers grade 11 high school students the opportunity to step behind the scenes of commercial aviation to learn if it is the right career path for their future. They provide an 8-week Academy and meet once a week in the evening to explore various careers in aviation. Pilots, flight attendants, airport staff and others who work in the airline and travel industry will provide valuable insight into their jobs and offer tips on how to best follow their footsteps. Through a series of lectures, field trips and hands-on exercises, participants will gain valuable insights into the exciting field of commercial aviation.
