Aspiring slam poets: If you are an Aboriginal student and are at all interested in Slam Poetry we have a tremendous opportunity for you. Thirty secondary students will be selected to participate in a Slam Poetry Workshop starting in early December. There will be 8 two hour sessions taking place between December and April. The sessions will take place at MRSS in the Mt. Crescent Annex. The workshop leader is Zaccheus Jackson an award winning Slam Poet from Vancouver. An orientation day is planned for all potential participants on November 13th. If you are interested or have any other questions please contact Corinna Miller in Room 2034. Sign up this week spaces are limited!
