On the twelveth day of Christmas my true love sent to me …
Twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers piping, ten lords a leaping, nine ladies dancing
eight maids a milking, seven swans a swimming,
six geese a laying, five golden rings!
Four calling birds, three french hens,
two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.

THSS Food Drive Contest – Is your tree already flooding with presents underneath it? Is there a turkey in your freezer already? Each month close to 350,000 Canadians are assisted by food banks and 36% of these people are children. This is only a quarter of people who actually need help from food banks in Canada. Most food banks are run by volunteers and each year they have to cut back their food distribution to each household because of a decrease in donations. If every student at THSS brings in one on-perishable food item, that would be over 1,000 items to donate! We even beat MRSS! Every little bit counts. Especially over the holidays the food banks need us.
