Dogwood Scholarships Applications are due today to the Career Centre.

Gr. 8/9 girls soccer team will practice Tuesday and Wednesday during the first week back after spring break. Our first game is on Thursday.

TODAY- 1st block- room 1122/ ENGLISH: SEMINAR

Grad dinner/dance meeting: There will be a dinner/dance meeting on Thursday at lunch in room 2146. All grads are welcome.

FAWLTY TOWERS CAST – reminder: all rehearsals are Mon. and Wed. after school until 4:30 – NO ONE should be leaving early! ALL cast members are required to attend.

Grad Transition Completion: Grade 12 students. Please be sure you are well underway in your work on Grad Transitions.
This week every student needs to “check in” and show progress and pace to Mr. Liversidge. Please be sure to see him in the Rotunda during an open block. The check in will take only about a minute and several students can come at the same time.
Due date for GT is April 11, 2014

POETRY SLAM- Thursday afternoon in the English Great Hall! All students are welcome.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GRAD 2014
Grad Fees:
• $50- Grad Fees for ceremony
• $60- Dinner/Dance (per person) add an additional $60 for guest
• $30- Dry Grad (per person) add an additional $30 for guest

Information you need to know:
• Please pay online; visit www.thss.ca and follow the fee/registration heading for fee payment
• *Grads are required to fill out a guest permission form for all guests and also a safe ride home form; please have ALL permission forms to Mr. Nosek before June 1st so that he can approve your guest in time for the dinner/dance*

MORE INFO IN THE OFFICE IF NEEDED. Waiver forms and forms for guests available in May.

TA CHANGE REQUEST FORMS will be available AFTER SPRING BREAK. Completed forms are to be handed in to the office NO LATER THAN APRIL 30. Please note that you may not get your request if TA is full.

A reminder to all presenters for the 15 Reasons Project: the exhibition is April 16th – only 2 weeks after Spring break.

THSS CLOTHING starts to go on sale next week. Samples will be available outside the girls PE change room during lunch – starting next week.

District Dogwood (non-academic) Scholarship application packages are in the Career Centre for Grade 12’s to pick up. Applications due back April 2; students selected to do presentations notified via TA April 15; Presentations April 23.

GRADE 12 AUTO AND MUSIC STUDENTS – The Golden Ears Vintage Car Club Bursaries in the District Scholarship Booklet have been changed. There is a new Music Student Bursary that did not make it in time for this year. Please read about both at http://schools.sd42.ca/thscareer/awards-and-scholarships/district-awards/

North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association needs volunteers 16 years old +. Horse experience is great but not required. Volunteer orientation session this Sunday, April 6th, 1:00-3:00 pm. If interested, come to the Career Centre.

Congratulations to: Brendan Smith and Carly Strang, who won silver in the regional Skills BC TV Video competition! Way to go guys!!

SPURS is going to happen again. Applications in career centre. If you have interest in any career related to law, or enforcement, consider this once in a life time opportunity.
