Sunwood Retirement Home is looking for student volunteers to connect with seniors. By helping out with recreation activities, supporting events or spending quality time you can make all the difference. Please contact Joanne Sweeney at 604-463-5527 ext. 203.

Katie’s Place Animal Shelter always welcomes people who want to give their time for the animals. Help is always needed with cleaning and feeding; shopping or picking up donated items; simple sewing; making crafts for fundraisers; carpentry; cuddling the cats; fostering babies, elderly or special needs animals; fundraising; and grounds maintenance. Arts Ambassadors The ACT Arts Centre: The ACT Arts Centre is looking for youth ages 13 – 18 who are looking to get a head start on their future and become a leader in their community. The Arts Ambassador program meets once a month at The ACT Arts Centre. Participants works towards free certifications and training (Serving It Right, World Host, Food Safe, First Aid), gain leadership and event planning skills, participate in fun socials, build their resume, gain volunteer experience hours, and meet new people. Equestrian Support North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association: NFTRA is searching for program volunteers to assist with grooming, feeding, tacking up, leading horses and side-walking with riders during lessons.
