Student-Led Conferences: Thursday, April 16th
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming student-led conferences on Thursday, April 16th! There are only 2 and a half months left in the school year and it is an important time to connect with teaching staff. Here’s what you need to know:
All conferences are by appointment only. Last year, we included a few drop-in sessions but we had fewer parents and students than in previous years so we are returning to bookings only. Appointments are 5 minutes long.
- Conference Times:
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Evening Session: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Booking Appointments:
- If you’d like to schedule an appointment, booking is now open on the parent portal. Appointment slots are available from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. You must book before next Monday evening, April 13th at 8:00 pm. If you don’t book by then, you will have to reach out to teachers via email to arrange a time.
- Note for Parents of Grade 8 Students:
- Please do not book appointments for elective rotation classes, as students attend these classes for only a few weeks. These classes include Drama 8 (Mr. Driscoll), Art 8 (Mr. Pasqualotto), Leadership 8 (Ms. Cranna), Culinary 8 (Mr. Tillotson), Textiles 8 (Ms. Hindson), Digital Literacy 8 (Ms. Schafer), Wood 8 (Ms. Branden), Metal 8 (Mr. Faresin), Guitar 8 (Mr. Halfnights), Foods 8 (Ms. Rowell), Digital Media 8 (Mr. Clippingdale), and Outdoor Ed. 8 (Mr. Penacerrada).
- Instead, please prioritize booking appointments for your child’s core, year-long courses.
