As the school year comes to a close, we would like to thank all of our students and families for a wonderful year and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer!
Report cards were published by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 24. Remember to save your copy as the report cards will be removed from MyClass on July 31, 2026 to make room for the new school year.
Looking ahead to September:
- August 24, 2026: Office staff return
- August 31, 2026: Locker assignment
- 10:00 AM – 10:45AM Grade 12s come in to get a locker assigned (student fee must be paid online)
- 10:45 AM – 11:00AM Grade 12s come to pay for student fee cash/cheque only & get assigned a locker
- 11:00 AM – 11:45AM Grade 11s come in to get a locker assigned (student fee must be paid online)
- 11:45 AM – 12:00PM Grade 11s come to pay for student fee cash/cheque only & get assigned a locker
- September 1, 2026: Locker assignment
- 10:00 AM – 10:45AM Grade 10s come in to get a locker assigned (student fee must be paid online)
- 10:45 AM – 11:00AM Grade 10s come to pay for student fee cash/cheque only & get assigned a locker

- 12:30 PM – 1:30PM Any student who missed their timeslot come to pay for locker cash/cheque only (student fee needs to be paid online first)
- September 2, 2026 (11:30AM – 12:30PM): Orientation for new students (Grades 9–12) and Grade 8 students who were unable to attend the Grade 8 Day in May
- September 4, 2026: MyClass activation for students
- Students should check their SD42 email account for their new password information.
- September 8, 2026: First day of school
- Grade 8: 9:30AM – 12:00PM
- Grades 9–12: 10:45AM – 12:00PM
- September 9, 2026: First full regular day of classes
Ministry of Education Dogwood certificates will be available for pick up starting on Monday, September 14 from the school office. We will not be mailing any out but a friend or family member may pick up on their behalf.
Students in trades at SRT but graduating elsewhere need to pick their dogwood from SRT. Those SRT grads who took a trades program at another secondary school will need to pick their dogwood from that school.
