Pitt Lake/Widgeon Falls Canoe Trip

We are arranging a field trip to Pitt Lake for Ms. Meyer’s Geography 12 students on Monday, May 12, 2025, to enhance the BC School curriculum. The deadline to sign up is May 2.  We are inviting 40 students on this trip and students will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.

Overview of the Program: Ridge Wilderness Adventures, Floating Classroom is a fun-oriented day designed to teach high school students basic boating skills and recreational water safety. The students will see nature at its best with beavers, eagles, loons, and fish at Pitt Lake and up along Widgeon Creek. Each student can gain an appreciation for the outdoors and witness geographic processes in nature.
