Grade 9 Immunizations (those that missed first date)

Fraser Health is offering Human Papillomavirus (HPV) immunization at all schools in our region to all eligible students in grade 6-12 during the 2024/25 school year. 

Our school’s clinic will be held on February 13, 2025.  A follow up time is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 for any students who are away for the initial date.

HPV immunization protects against several cancers and works best when given in early adolescence.  Getting immunized prepares the immune system to prevent infection. Since introducing HPV immunization, there has been a significant decrease in HPV infections that cause cancer.

Students eligible for the HPV vaccine will receive a letter letting them know they are eligible to receive the HPV vaccine and any other immunizations they are due for.
