PMSS is hosting it’s first Winter Fair! This event is being coordinated by your lovely leadership students. The Winter Fair will have a craft fair, a cake walk, music, an auction (runs by the Grads), a concession, and games for the kids.

They are currently seeking vendors for the craft fair. If you know any crafters please pass on the message! Youth vendors do not have to pay for their table, adult vendors are 25$ – DEADLINE to book a table is Monday, December 11th.

PARENT-TEACHER-STUDENT CONFERENCE DAY

Our first Parent-Teacher-Student Conference Day is on Thursday, November 9th (times are 1:00 – 4:00 AND 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.) and will be held in the Gymnasium. If you missed the sign-up, please email your child’s teachers directly (staff email list is on the website) to discuss student progress.

NON-INSTRUCTIONAL DAY (SCHOOL-BASED)

Friday, November 10th is a Non-Instructional Day – no school for students.

DAY OFF IN LIEU

Monday, November 13th is a day off in Lieu of Remembrance Day

TAKE YOUR GRADE 9 KID TO WORK DAY:

Take Your Kid to Work Day is an annual national program in which Grade 9 students are hosted by parents, friends, relatives, and volunteers at workplaces across the country for one day every November. The program supports career development by helping students connect school, the world of work, and their own futures.

This year, PMSS Grade 9 students have the opportunity to participate on Wednesday, November 1st (TOMORROW). This day is a part of the student’s Career 9 course so there is an assignment to go with the day. If students choose NOT to participate, they should attend school as there is an alternate assignment these students will need to complete (for non-participants).  * Please note that most classes will be missing a large number of students as the majority of Grade 9s are participating in the program.

** The permission form itself was sent out on the Parent Portal on October 16th – you are still able to sign your child up.

YEARBOOKS – October 2024 Sale (Final Week)

The October sale of $45 for a 2023/24 Yearbook ends this coming Sunday, November 5th.  After this date, the Yearbooks will go back up to their regular price of $55.  ** The order form went out on the Parent Portal on October 13th.

2023/2024 STUDENT VERIFICATION FORMS

Your student would have brought home a yellow Student Verification Form a few weeks ago which details the information we have on file on our school’s student database.  If you still have this form at home – please make any applicable changes/additions, sign the back, and return it to the school office.  If there are no changes needed, still sign the back of the form and return it to the school. ** The forms are due back by the end of this week.  Thank you.
