11:00 p.m.  Conclusion (on to Dry Grad at PMSS for those attending)

A reminder to our Grade 8 students (ONLY) that you do NOT have school on Wednesday, May 20th as it is Grade 7 Visit Day (the Grade 7s will be the ‘Grade 8s’ for the day).

Registration for students eligible for school district transportation for the 2026/27 school year will be open from Monday, May 11, 2026, at 12:00 pm (noon) to June 26, 2026, at 4:00 pm.

Regular student transportation is available for eligible students living and attending school in the following school catchments:

• Blue Mountain Elementary
• Garibaldi Secondary (excluding those residing in Silver Valley / Rockridge area)
• Highland Park Elementary
• Pitt Meadows Secondary
• Webster’s Corners Elementary
• Whonnock Elementary

Eligibility for regular student transportation is based on grade level and distance from the catchment area school as outlined below:

• Grades K-3 students living farther than 4 kms from their catchment school
• Grades 4-12 students living farther than 4.8 kms from their catchment school

Eligibility for transportation for students with disabilities and diverse abilities is based on criteria set out in Policy 5400 Student Transportation Provided by the Board on the school district website.

To register for regular student transportation or transportation for students with disabilities and diverse abilities, please click on the announcement titled Student Transportation 2026/2027 – Registration. The announcement will appear when registration opens at noon, May 11, 2026. Registration deadline is June 26, 2026.

We are in the process of having a new phone system installed at PMSS today so there will be times when you are NOT able to phone in.  If you are calling regarding a student absence, please enter it through the Parent Portal or send an email to pmss_reception@sd42.ca.  Thank you for your understanding.

The PMSS Fine Arts Night is happening Thursday, April 30th! Come and support our Drama, Art, Photography and Music students! Drama performances from 5-6 pm in the Multipurpose Room and a Glow in the Dark Art Show upstairs from 6-8 pm. Experience incredible student artwork transformed by neon colors under blacklight! Bring your friends and family, snap some glowing photos, and celebrate the amazing talent in our school. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
