Altered Bell Schedule – Wednesday, September 25, 2024
Dear PMSS Families:
In order to accommodate the district assemblies on Wednesday, September 24th, we are altering the bell schedule and removing Flex for the day.
The block rotation will be as follows:
- Block C 8:30-9:50
- Block D 9:55-11:15
- LUNCH
- Block A 12:00-1:20
- Block B 1:25-2:45

Grade 8 Parent Night – Wednesday, September 18th
On Wednesday, September 18th, we will be hosting our Grade 8 Parent Night starting at 6:00 p.m. Pitt Leadership students will be on hand to meet and greet our Grade 8 parents as they start with a self-directed tour with their student and we will come together at 6:45 in the MPR for an informational session and Q&A.
We are looking forward to meeting our new Pitt families as well as seeing our returning families!

Senior Girls Volleyball Tryouts…
…is happening already! First tryout for the Senior (Gr. 11/12) Girls Volleyball team is Wednesday, September 4th @ 3:00 p.m. Don’t forget your gym gear!
2024-2025 Student Schedules and First Day Info
PMSS student schedules for the 2024/2025 school year are now live on MyClass.
Student MyClass log-in information will only be sent to individual @sd42.ca student email accounts. If you have not yet signed up for your Student MyClass account, log on to the SD42 website – you will find the sign-up information, a brochure and a detailed video under the STUDENT Top Tab.
Students needing MyClass password help or info must email myclass@sd42.ca. Please do NOT call the school, as this is a centralized system district-wide. Parent MyClass accounts will open later in September.
Paper copies of the student schedules will be distributed on Tuesday, September 3rd from homeroom teachers. Homeroom teachers will be posted at the main entrance when students arrive at their designated time on the first day of school. Arrival times are noted below by grade. Students will be here for approximately one hour. **Please note that staff will be in a meeting and unavailable until 9:45 a.m.
- Gr. 8 – 10:00 a.m.
- Gr. 9/10 – 11:00 a.m.
- Gr. 11/12 – noon
- NEW International Students only – 1:30 p.m. (go to room 1029)
Detailed information regarding Course Change Requests will be communicated at each Grade Assembly during the SECOND week of school. There will be NO course changes prior to the assemblies. We ask that students follow the schedule they receive on September 3rd.
