Attention Grade 12’s – mark your calendar to attend the SD42 Awards and District Authority Awards information session next Thursday, January 23 at FLEX in Miss Kim’s Room (1041). We will be going over the SD42 Awards booklet (that just came out online) and the application process.

The booklet can be found on the pmssgrads.wordpress.com website as well as on the SD42 website under students/scholarships. The deadline to submit SD42 Awards and District Authority Awards, with portfolios, to the Career Centre is Thursday, March 13 by 3:00 p.m.

Attn:  Grade 9 Parents/Guardians: 

Grade 9 students have been issued their immunization information in sealed envelopes from Fraser Health.  Please view the documents, sign where applicable and have your child return the forms to the school office no later than Monday, January 13th.

** For those Grade 9 students that missed out on the January 27th Immunization Day, there will be a ‘make-up’ day on Tuesday, February 4th in the a.m.

A reminder to students and families that there is NO FLEX BLOCK for the first two weeks of school.  Block times will be as follows:

• 1st block:  8:30 – 9:50 a.m.
• 2nd block: 9:55 – 11:15 a.m.
• Lunch:  11:15 – 11:55 a.m.
• 3rd block:  12:00 noon – 1:20 p.m.
• 4th block:  1:25 – 2:45 p.m.

** Friday, January 17th is a late start so that regular schedule is still in place with a 9:50 a.m. start

IF YOU RECEIVED notification from MountWest Studios that your photo order is at the school, they were delivered yesterday afternoon and are available for pick-up.  PMSS office hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Today (Wednesday, Dec. 18th) is the last day for cafeteria service until Tuesday, January 7th.  There will be pizza fundraisers in lieu this Thursday/Friday and on the first day of school, Monday, January 6th.  There have been daily reminders announced to the students but if your son/daughter is not a “pizza fan”, they should plan accordingly.

Regarding Yearbook Image selection:

1. Log in to view your grad images
2. Click on ‘Select Yearbook Pose’ on the top left of the page, underneath ‘Gallery View’.
3. Your deadline to select your yearbook image is: November 27, 2024**If you do not select an image by the above deadline, our production team will choose one for you.**

RETAKES for Grad Cap & Gown and Full Length Fashion photos are coming up next month on Monday, December 16th from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the school (PMSS cafeteria).

If you missed the original photo dates, OR wish to have retakes done, please visit the link below to register.  

IMPORTANT: It has come to our attention that 38 of you have NOT had your Grad Photos taken.  Even if you don’t want to purchase any, you should still do this otherwise you will not have a Grad photo in the Yearbook.  These are also the photos shown on the large grad portraits hanging in the school hall and a copy of which will be included in your grad portfolio when you cross the stage in June.
