Intramural Basketball

Due to scheduling issues, some of the intramural basketball dates have been edited.

Dates are now… May 10, May 15, May 16 and May 17 (if needed).  Sorry for any inconvenience.

“As Time Goes By”: Things change. Thomas Haney has always been an awesome place. What makes it awesome for you? Think about your life at THSS. What’s important to you? A club you take part in? A sport you play? Or is it something about the school itself unique?  Staff members have received a short form to complete. Fill it out and bring your artifact to Mrs. Holness in room 2110. Items should be no bigger than 6” long or square and 4” deep. Talk in TA. Chat with your friends. Leave your mark for those who come after….”as time goes by”.

Attention Languages Students:

  • Please have a chat with your Languages teachers to find out about upcoming deadline dates for the year. The first one is coming up on May 12 for learning guides 1-5. Merci! Gracias! Arigato!

Extreme Career Fair:  On May 11th, 2017 Black Press will be hosting another Extreme Career Fair, featuring over 100 exhibitors in the employment and educational sectors. The event will be held at the Langley Events Centre. For more information please contact Mrs. Sekhon in the Career Centre.

Are you tough enough?

Reminder to get your donations in for Terry Fox. We have raised over $1500 so Carriss will be getting his eyebrow pierced, Clutchey and Hussey will wear wigs and Ford and Jennings will camp on the roof for a week!. At $2000 Biggar will live in jello for a day. $2500 Connolly will wear rollerblades for a week $3000 Frend will wax his chest and at $5000 Woloszczuk will get a THSS tattoo. This year we are trying to raise support for this very important cause by creating consequences for the teachers and a team building tough mudder known as tough thunder that will take place after the run. Don’t forget to get your team of six signed up at lunch for 20 dollars starting on Friday. All proceeds going The Terry Fox Foundation. We’re hoping each TA will raise $100.
