This week is Spirit Week!
Make sure to dress up every day to earn points for your team colour! Join us each day in the rotunda at lunch for more chances to earn points for your team and look out for mini games around the school daily. Tuesday is Twin / Squad Day. Wednesday is Superhero / Cartoon Character Day. Thursday is Tie Dye / Hippie Day and Friday is Colour Day. Dress up, earn points for your team and show your school spirit!
Hey kids, Disney’s Mech-X4, the TV show that has been filming here, is looking for up to 50 extras on Tuesday March 15th for filming at the school. You will need to arrive at the school by 730 am, and should be finished at about 430 pm. You’ll be fed lunch and snacks, and you’ll have an excellent item for your resume! In exchange for our help, the school will receive a donation for student initiatives and projects. All participants must be at least 15 years old. Extra help available for Math 10 students: Tuesdays during 1st block and Thursdays during 2nd block in room 1149 with Ms. Bidwell. Math help will be offered every Tuesday/Thursday until April. The focus will be on learning guides 9 & 10, but help for other learning guides is also available
Doubles Table Tennis Tournament
The Table Tennis club is hosting a doubles tournament for any interested students. Sign up in the library with your partner or just sign up and we’ll find you a partner. The tournament will be held on Wednesday, March 9 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. For more info, please see Ms. Travis or Mr. Faa
Youth Week Talent Show Auditions!
Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually in the first week of May. Students are invited to join in on the fun through at talent show held at the ACT Arts Centre on May 2.
Audition Dates: Thursday, March 24 or 31
Audition Times: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Thomas Haney Equestrian Academy 2016-17 applications are now being accepted. If you are a grade 9 student entering grade 10, and horses and riding define who you are, apply online. So you want to be a babysitter? Or, your parents want you to take this course so they feel confident leaving you at home alone?
Babysitting with First Aid Hero emphasizes first aid and learning through real life scenarios. Active role-play! Interactive and fun! Covered in this course:
• Exploring the Business of Babysitting
• Creating Safe Environments
• Safely caring for ages 0-12
• First Aid Skills
Please bring a yoga mat, pen/pencil, medium sized stuffed animal or doll, lunch, snacks and water.
