Students who are considering work or education in Horticulture – there is a new program starting next year. It is a partnership between School District #42 and Kwantlen University. You can earn dual credit in Horticulture and Landscaping for both post-secondary and high school. If this interests you, please come to the Career Centre for more information. Extra help available for Math 10 students:
Tuesdays during 1st block and Thursdays during 2nd block in room 1149 with Ms. Bidwell. Math help will be offered every Tuesday/Thursday until April. The focus will be on learning guides 9 & 10, but help for other learning guides is also available

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is touring a production called Going Home Star Truth and Reconciliation. This commissioned work explores First Nations issues via ballet. Please view the synopsis and trailer here: http://www.rwb.org/whats-on/show/going-home-star This is an excellent opportunity for our students to collide with an art form they might not normally experience. The date we are thinking of attending is Friday April 8th. The discounted cost is $44.00 We would travel to Vancouver by bus leaving at 6 pm and returning at approximately 11 pm. If you are interested in this opportunity, please have register at the front reception desk by the end of the day on Thursday. It is important that we have an idea of the number of students interested as there is a minimum ticket number required to receive the discount. Field trip forms etc will follow just after Spring Break.
The main gym is closed during Y-blocks. Small gym is available. Please see a PE teacher if you have any questions.
Attention those who LOVE to bake!
Mrs. Samouilhan and Ms. Preibisch are starting a Baking Club! You will learn cake decorating techniques and how to frost cakes. Fun and yummy! The club will meet on Fridays in 3rd block in Mrs. Samouilhan’s room starting this Friday, April 1st. Sign-up will be on her door. There will be a max of 20 people in the club, so don’t delay, sign up today!
