Mountain Bike Team
Welcome to the SD42 Mountain Bike Team! We are incredibly fortunate to be situated next to world class venues, and we are excited to get our wheels in the dirt.
Each day we will go over a new skill that will help riders become more confident, more skilled, safer, and faster! Regular activities will include, but are not limited to, riding mountain bikes both on and off road, on trails, on natural features, on hand built features, as well as on machine built features. Features include jumps, berm corners, drops, and more.
Your bike MUST be in working condition. Some minor adjustments can be made trailside, but any major jobs (ie. brakes not working) mean you will not be permitted to join the group. Students are required to have proper clothing and footwear for all rides (helmet in good condition / no cracks). Clothing should be appropriate to the weather and venue. A water bottle and snacks are a good idea, especially as the weather warms.
By paying the $35 Athletic Fee on the Parent Portal you are agreeing to the following:
I give my child permission to mountain bike with the SRT Team,
I understand that it is a high risk sport,
I understand that injuries occur,
I understand that bikes may have mechanical issues and that repairs may be needed,
I am aware of the proposed schedule that is subject to change:

March 12 – Practice @ Thornhill
