The Government of Canada recently designated September 30th a statutory holiday named the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in recognition of the lasting harm residential schools have had on Indigenous communities. We ask students, staff, and families to use this opportunity to reflect on the profound injustice of residential schools and ensure that the intergenerational trauma suffered by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit families is not forgotten. With the hope of more positive times ahead, I would like to put a call out for our PMSS Parent Grad Committee.
Our initial meeting will be by MS Teams, Tuesday, September 28th at 7:00pm. While I am optimistic, the Grad Banquet is obviously subject to change based off of Provincial Health Orders.
If you would like to participate, please email me and I will add you to the invite. An MS Teams link will be sent the day of the meeting, Tuesday, September 28th.

The 2021/2022 academic year has started here at PMSS and I hope all of your students have had a positive beginning to the year.
Our first PAC meeting will be held virtually at 7:00pm on Monday, September 13th. PAC meetings provide an important opportunity for parents to learn more about our school, talk with school administration and other parents, and have any questions or concerns addressed.
