February 2-5 – Grade Assemblies for 2026-2027 Course Planning
February 5-12 – Attention Rebels! Love is in the air… and so is the smell of fresh baked goods!
From February 9th to the 12th, Rebels for a Cause is hosting the ultimate Valentine’s Bake Sale.
We’ve got something for every taste: sweet, rich, gooey, crunchy, classic, and bold—because love comes in all forms. Whether you’re looking for something for your crush, your bestie, your partner, or your totally mysterious secret admirer, we’ve got you covered.
And introducing our star attraction… the Dubai chocolate cookies, now rebranded just for Valentine’s as “Desert Temptation Love Bites.” They’re smooth, rich, and dangerously irresistible, kind of like your Valentine.
So don’t be shy, bring your friends, your flirt game, sweet tooth, and most importantly… help us support Meals on Wheels because these treats are too good to just look at.

February 7 – GSS Music Fundraiser – Dessert & Dance takes place at the Albion Community Centre on Saturday, February 7, from 7:00–10:00 pm. Join us for an elegant and fun-filled evening in Maple Ridge featuring:
- Live Big Band–style swing and ballroom dance music performed by the Garibaldi Secondary and Golden Ears Jazz bands
- A swing dance lesson led by a professional instructor
- A selfie photo booth
- Silent auction
- A wide variety of delicious desserts
- A spacious dance floor for dancing the night away
This classy and entertaining event raises funds to support students in the Garibaldi Secondary music program. So strap on your dancing shoes, bring your sweet tooth, and come enjoy a memorable evening! 🎟 Tickets are available online at www.gssmusic.com Please note that tickets are limited and the event is expected to sell out, so we encourage you to purchase early.
