Silva Chamber Choir Earn Gold at Choral Festival

Congratulations to the MRSS Silva Chamber Choir for their GOLD-level achievement awarded at the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival. 30 of our singers from Grade 8-12 performed three pieces at the Massey Theatre in New Westminster for an esteemed board of choral clinicians including: Carrie Tennant, Scott Leithead, and Morna Edmundson. They were thrilled to close out the festival with introductions by Matias Pelegrin-Hicks, solos by Unai Esteban Rodriguez and Hannah Sawyer, and an energetic performance by all the chamber singers.
