Happening Today – June 9

The answer to last week’s PRIDE question of the day, ” What was the first European Country to legalize gay marriage?” is the Netherlands. Today’s question is, “During which year was the first time a pride flag was raised at Parliament Hill in Ottawa?”.  Literacy Assessments today in the library beginning with Grade 10 students last names beginning A-Bris, after lunch last names beginning Bui-Dov. Due to the exams, the library is closed all week but library books are due so please return them to the bin just outside the library doors. There is no Astronomy Club meeting at lunch today.
