Happening Today – June 3

The answer to yesterday’s Pride question, “Where and in what year did the first gay rights protest in Canada take place?” The answer is Ottawa 1971. Today’s question, “Which country holds the record for the largest Pride parade in the world?” Enter your guess at the office for a chance to win a prize. All Grade 10 students writing the Literacy Assessment next week can come to Portable 2 today, tomorrow or Wednesday during Tutorial to learn what is on the assessments and have a chance to practice. Meeting at lunch today is Fiction Addiction in the library and Student Council in room 1031. Library books are now due. The library is closed for exams all next week, so books need to be handed in by the end of the week or there will be charges. There is an assortment of free books at the library – come take a look and pick up a summer read. Grad rehearsal takes place tomorrow at 3pm in the main gym – caps & gowns will be distributed – attendance is MANDATORY for everyone participating,
