Happening Today – June 20

Thank you to all the staff and students who supported the Juneteenth event yesterday. Special thank you’s to Ms. Trudeau and her Social Justice Class, DJ Aldric, Mr. Frend, all attendees and the Wings EAs who supported their students, and of course a thank you to our African drummers and Steelpan musicians too! Congratulations to Finn, Liam, Asal, Julia & Mirai for your film entries – they were impressive and showcased your talent! The answer to yesterday’s PRIDE month question of the day, “What is pansexual?”, the answer is attraction to people regardless of gender. Locker clean out is today by the end of the day – please be sure to empty your lockers. Locks will be cut off next week and unclaimed contents donated. Meeting today at Tutorial is Rainbow Connection and the Graphic Novel Club meets at lunch in the library. It’s not to late to pick up a Ridge sweatshirt – come to the Caf’EH, pick the colour, pick your size, pay and take it away!
