There is a Grade 8 Boys Volleyball practice after school today in the small gym – new members are still welcome. There is a mandatory Cross Country meeting at lunch today in room MC1012 for all athletes travelling to Seaside, Oregon tomorrow. The Outdoor Club meets at lunch today in room MC1040. The Chess Club meets at lunch in room MC1036 – new members welcome. Application packages for the Youth Fire Academy can be handed in today in the Career Centre – today is the final day to apply. Any students interested in Fishing are invited to the first fishing club meeting of the year after school today in room 2108. Sr. & Jr. Boys Soccer tryouts today in Mr. Kraus’ room (1027) after school today. ADVANCE NOTICE: Anyone interested in trying out for the MRSS Field lacrosse team is invited to a meeting in Mrs. Burns’ room next Wednesday at the beginning of lunch. We will be holding Junior and possibly Senior tryouts after school on Oct. 4 and 5. The season starts in November. If you are interested, please make sure to attend the meeting to sign up for tryouts and to get important information about the season.
