On the weekend ten members of the Badminton team competed in the Rising Stars Tournament in Port Coquitlam and had excellent results including: U15 Boys Singles 1st – Angus Perler; U15 Boys Doubles 1st – Angus Perler & Ryan Waterman; U17 Boys Doubles 2nd – Marshall Kanda-Kwon & Darious Clayton; U19 Girls Singles Rookie – Katrina Ratner; U19 Girls Doubles 1st – Clara Pereira & Katrina Ratner and Lina Bae & Katrina Wang – 2nd; U19 Mixed Doubles Kiefer Wang & Clara Pereira – 1st and Austin Lee & Katrina Wang 2nd; and finally U17 Boys Singles – Austin Lee 2nd. And, bringing home Triple Crown with three 1st place finishes Clara Pereira! Congratulations Team!
