Maple Ridge Fire Department Youth Academy Work Experience Opportunity: This program is designed for students aged 16 to 18 years who are interested in the Fire Service as a possible future career. The Youth Academy takes place on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00 beginning October 19 until mid-June. Applications can be picked up in the Counselling office. Completed applications to Ms. Trudeau or Ms. Domitruck by Friday, September 22. Applications require: a resume, 2 letters of reference, current driver’s abstract, criminal record check and completed application with parent signature. Short listed applicants will be interviewed starting September 27.
