Wolf Moon Tonight

Tonight’s moon is the first full moon of this year and is know as the Wolf moon. For Indigenous people, each moon was named in order to keep track of the passing year. The origin of this moon’s name dates back to the presence of First Nations’ on this land , and is specifically related to the Pawnee Native American Tribe. This tribe is named after the word pa’ni which, translated, means wolf. The traditions and customs of this tribe align with the wolf spirit, the spirit of humility.

Tonight’s Wolf Moon symbolizes the time for transformation. It is the place to commit to figure out what you need in order to have a happy life, achieving all that you are able to. It is the time to clear struggling thoughts and replace them with growth, change and action.
