Today’s Black Brilliance message is about Sam Langford, who was born in Nova Scotia. Sam is considered one of the finest heavyweight boxers of all time. He was one of many top Black boxers who was not allowed to fight in world championships because of racial discrimination but he kept boxing anyway, and this led to him being called the Unofficial World Champion of Boxing.
