Ridge Wrestlers produced some spectacular results at the Fraser North Wrestling championships held last Friday in the MRSS gymnasium. GOLD medalists include Erica Neuman, Madi Grof, Kaia Haintz, Tatyana Lagrange, Isabel Easby, Kynan Haintz, Travis Schultz and Linden Sinow. Linden wrestled the tournament of his young wrestling career beating two Grade12 wrestlers en route to the top of the podium. Other phenomenal matches include Callum Ross and Erica Neuman. Both Ridge Wrestlers orchestrated come from behind victories in spectacular fashion to allow the Ridge wrestling girls to place 1st and they also won another banner in the combined aggregate division. Ridge Wrestlers next take to the mat at the BC High School Championships held at the Pacific Colliseum in two weeks where the girls team vie for a ‘threepeat’ Provincial Crown. Other results include: Halle Grof, & Callum Ross & Ashton Senko – Silver, Peyten Coliseum, Mikayla Pratt & Ethan Peever – Bronze, Sahara Jamal & Eva Fuller-4th, Isaac Fuller – 5th, Matias Hicks, Bhaget Sal & Jackson McKay – 6th.
