Ridge Wrestlers 2019 BC High School Wrestling Champions!

Congratulations to our Women’s Wrestling team just won the 2019 BC High School Wrestling Title. In the combined event with the boys and girls adding their team points together – we placed 2nd! Individually, Marquesis Haintz won her second consecutive Provincial title and Ryan Hicks repeated his 2nd place performance against a very lucky and tired gr. 12 opponent. Ivy Threatful earned a hard fought silver and was named co-winner of the match of the tournament. Other medalists include “Madi the buzz saw Grof” and Teegan Maschke earning bronzes and Adrian Truong and Ashley Roy placing 4th. It was 25 years to the day since MRSS Wrestling team won their last Provincial title and Coach McCrae would like to thank all the athletes for their hard work and dedication throughout the year as well as all the parents, siblings, injured teammates and Mr. Connor for coming out and supporting these phenomenal athletes. Rambler Power!
