Ridge Dominates District Badminton Championships!

It was another fine day for MRSS at the District Championships for Badminton last night. Ridge athletes took half of the medals at the tournament and completely decimated the opposition. Here are the results:

In Mixed Doubles we had two teams qualify for the Frasers: Liam Sampson and Nutcha L. won the Bronze medal, and Hiroki Okamoto and Joanna Chen came fourth.

In Girls Doubles, Joanna Chen and Amelie Bach won the Bronze medal.

In Boys Singles, Ridge was dominant.  Daanish Vir won Gold and Yeonwoo Shin won the Bronze medal.

But all of that pales in comparison to Boys Doubles, where Ridge athletes took every single medal!! Daanish and Liam won Gold, Yeonwoo and Nathan Adomi won Silver, and Hiroki and Mingyu Song won Bronze.

Congratulations to all the Ridge athletes and good luck next month at the Frasers!
